ISF CAMBODIA NGO VISUAL REFRESH

ISF Cambodia is an over 15-year-old NGO based in the country’s capital Phnom Penh. The small, but enormously passionate workers there provide support to some of the city’s poorest children. Using a holistic mix of education, healthcare, and sport, they give their underprivileged students the tools they need to lift themselves out of poverty.

While they had an incredible story to tell, they didn’t have the tools to tell it visually. That’s where I came in.

So I Brought Their Band Identity Back from the Future

To tell their compelling story, I dived into their origin story. Using it, I built a successful brand identity.

ISF (Indochina Starfish Foundation) is named after the short story The Star Thrower by Loren Eiseley. So I used colors inspired by the sea to add a touch of storytelling to their brand identity.

In the End, I Caught I Wave of Creativity

ISF (Indochina Starfish Foundation) is named after the short story The Star Thrower by Loren Eiseley. So I used colors inspired by the sea to add a touch of storytelling to their brand identity.

The organization’s primary colors would become the orange of a starfish, a deep-water blue, and dark charcoal, like the aftermath of a bonfire. The secondary colors are sandy cream color and a soothing blue inspired by some of my cherished diving trips.
